Andrew Zimmern Excited About Jackson, MS Visit

Andrew Zimmern, host of Travel Channel’s hit series, Bizarre Foods, is set to appear at the Appetite for the Jackson, MS food festival tomorrow afternoon, January 28, 2012. Eat Jackson caught up with Zimmern today in Pass Christian, MS. It seems Zimmern is pretty excited about being in Jackson and raising money for the Craig Noone Miracle League, in memory of late Parlor Market Executive Chef, Craig Noone. Here’s what Zimmern had to say about his visit to Jackson.

And in case you’re curious about what Zimmern was doing on the Mississippi Gulf Coast this afternoon… Zimmern was filming for his online show Appetite for Life: Southern Hospitality with Andrew Zimmern presented by Toyota and hosted by MSN. The show described simply as “a Southern road trip for good” is definitely the sort of thing Eat Jackson can support! Here are a few snapshots of Zimmern’s day along the Mississippi Gulf Coast supporting the Chefs of the Coast’s Seafood Boil on the Beach Event which was sort of a pre-party for the famed Pass Christian Oyster Fest going on tomorrow and Sunday in Pass Christian.
