Any of them have good onion rings to go with the burgers? That’s part of my test. Good crispy fries or excellent onion rings.

It is sad when a bun makes a burger. We live in the south folks. Check out Burgers & Blues and i assure you all you will be thinking is, now this is a BURGER. Don’t forget the live music, deck and atmoshere, where you can be yourself. See ya there.

    1) cool al’s on mcwillie. takes a while to get your order b/c they cook to order, but man, it is worth the wait. If you’re going for lunch, call it in before you leave your office, then chow down when you get there. saves a ton of time if your boss is a stickler for keeping to an hour. Cool Al’s has the best onion rings of them all.
    2) majestic in canton mart square. onion rings are meh.
    3) blue rooster in flora. the burger meat itself wasn’t so special, but the choice of add-ons for the burger and the atmosphere is great. Good onion rings.

    I don’t have a 4 and 5.

Burgers and Blues… not so much. Never had good service there. Every hamburger I’ve ordered there is too well done on the inside and literally a black char on the outside. The best thing about the place is the deck outside. Nice shady trees and a good stage for local folks to play. The trivia on Tuesday nights is fun. I know it’s al stamps place, but he has winning burger chefs at cool al’s.

I haven’t had Parker House’s hamburger, but the best hamburgers come from the steak trimmings. Kudos to that.

Like I said, I know folks that will come to blows over who’s got the best burger in town. I’m just highlighting my favorites so far. Before you complain about what got left off, go try these five – then we can talk.

I’d definitely say if this was a top 10, Trace Grill would be on the list. But these are some mighty fine burgers. Check them out for yourself.

Blue Rooster burgers are awesome. The jalapeno bun has a little sweet heat….tastes homemade. Burgers are pink and juicy inside. Perfect. Best burger EVER. Trace Grill burgers are good, but I’ll bet you change your mind if you go to Blue Rooster in Flora. Trust me, it’s worth the trip to Flora.

Cheap but good is the California burger at Burger King. Who would have thought to put grocamole on a burger.
